A video-performance that reimagines the myth of Iztaccíhuatl, proposing the volcano erupting alongside 
a genealogy of female performance artists in Mexico, interweaving performance and choreography.

The eruption of Iztaccíhuatl served as fertile ground for the projects that emerged,  
featured in the exhibition ‘Despliegue Iztaccíhuatl’ (2024) at Biquini Wax.

A solo exhibition that takes the eruption of Iztaccíhuatl as a departure point and a watershed moment 
in the projects I developed between 2019 and 2024, evoking a volcanic body that connects that period.

From the ashes of post-chaos and the promises of fertility that the passage of time would bring, 
open-ended questions emerge about performance, genealogy, archives, friendship, and experience. 
What appears disjointed carves a path and grounds itself, shaping and performing works of diverse formats 
and intensities.
